The Huawei Ascend P1 LTE has been launched at the Global Mobile Broadband Forum 2012 in Canada and it is all set to operate exclusively through EE in the UK. This device is the latest to land in the company’s LTE lineup that boasts of the E398 modem and B593 router to name a few.

As far as specifications are concerned, this Huawei handset sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display that’s further accentuated with Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection. A 1.5GHz dual core processor works in tandem with 1GB RAM to proffer smooth web surfing and multitasking experiences. The LTE-enabled smartphone tags along data transmission rate of up to 100Mbit/s that’s said to be way better than HSDPA.

The device offers Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box, while there is 4GB of internal memory for hoarding purposes. It is embedded with an 8MP camera carrying dual LED flash and it is claimed to click 30 images in 1 second. A beefy 2,000mAh Li-Polymer battery powers up all the mobile operations.

The Huawei Ascend P1 LTE price in the UK is under wraps at present. Its release date will be revealed closer to launch.
