Nokia Lumia 900 to debut via AT&T in March

Although AT&T had officially announced the arrival of the Nokia Lumia 900 in the U.S., the carrier refrained from revealing the exact date. But an official newsletter posted on the Finnish manufacturer’s developer blog reveals that the device will be made available in March, this year.

While the newsletter only declares the month of the phone’s release, WMPowerUser has managed to find out that it will be up for grabs from March 18. The phone flaunting an AMOLED ClearBlack multi-touch display spanning 4.3 inches, comes drenched in shades of cyan and matte black. A 1.4GHz processor bestows the device with multitasking properties and the carrier’s 4G LTE network support makes for a quick web browsing experience.

Similar to the previously released Lumia smartphones from the company, the 900 variant also binges on the Mango platform, that is, the Windows Phone 7.5 OS. The 8MP camera possesses attributes such as Carl Zeiss lens, auto focus and dual LED flash, which should ensure good quality images regardless of the lighting conditions. The front facing 1MP snapper of the phone comes with features like wide-angle lens as well as a large aperture for sharper images during video conferencing over the web.

Besides access to the Windows Marketplace for downloading applications, the mobile phone is pre-installed with applications like Internet Explorer, People hub, ESPN sports hub and more. In addition to this, the device offers support to some other applications like Nokia Drive, CNN app, AT&T U-Verse mobile app amongst others. It draws power from a 1,830mAh battery.

The Nokia Lumia 900 price has not been revealed but the phone will most probably, hit AT&T stores on March 18.
