Pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S III pre-order in India stops

The latest developments have revealed that the pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S III pre-order bookings in India are not being accepted following stories about the supposed shortage of the third generation Galaxy S in this particular hue. It leaves prospective users with a single option, that’s the white variant.

Not long ago, Engadget had reported about the delay in the release of the blue phone. It acquired information from various sources stating that the smartphone will not be offered in the color in question when it is first released in Asia-Pacific, Europe and Persian Gulf countries. As for India, the Korean manufacturer has stopped taking pre-orders and the official website now only allows potential buyers to reserve the marble white S III.

Only recently, the device draped in the blue colored chassis went up for pre-booking in the country, but was pulled away after a couple of days. Perhaps, the demand for the unconventional shade are exceeding the supply capacity of the company. This may have resulted in Samsung completely doing away with the option of ordering it.

It looks like those in the US will not be hit by the apparent shortage as Amazon and even Expansys continue to stock up on the Galaxy smartphone in both shades. The UK seems to be facing the same problem as India as the blue version is not in stock any more through Carphone Warehouse, although it can still be pre-ordered.

Pebble blue Samsung Galaxy S III pre-order bookings are not being taken any more and the manufacturer chooses to keep mum over the issue. Also, there is no word on whether or not the phone will be shipped to those who already reserved one in blue.
