Coming as a delightful piece of news to fans, the Nokia Lumia 920 AT&T release date may fall on November 2. Though the Finnish manufacturer is yet to officially back up the information, it is one of the latest stories being cited by a number of sources.

According to the buzz, Microsoft and AT&T are closely collaborating with Nokia to ship the device at the right time. The Redmond-based company is said to be giving the Windows Phone 8 software its final touches, with a Release to Manufacturing apparently set for next week.

The folks over at The Verge have received word from AT&T that the carrier is presently trialing the device in its labs and intends to launch it on November 2. Microsoft seems to be planning to release Windows Phone 8 on October 29, that is a couple of days before the Lumia device supposedly starts shipping.

Talking about the specifications of this Nokia device, it drags along a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ display that’s said to deliver clear and bright pictures. It flaunts an 8.7MP snapper on the back panel that is further accentuated with Nokia PureView technology.

The handset’s integrated battery is expected to survive for approximately 10 hours of talk time over 3G. It is said to offer roughly 67 hours of music playback or 6 hours of video streaming. The phone is equipped with a Snapdragon S4 processor to handle the workload. It also offers wireless charging through Qi-compatible chargers.
