The price in India of the Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 is out along with details of the Yoga 11; but the company is yet to decide their launch dates. The convertible laptops are said to have been deployed with a hinge mechanism that makes it possible to use these devices in different modes such as tablet, laptop, stand and tent.
The IdeaPad Yoga 13, as the name suggests, is a 13.3-inch convertible notebook with a highly flexible nature. Its high definition IPS capacitive touchscreen of 16:9 aspect ratio is said to be capable of projecting visuals in 1600 x 900p resolution. The device measures 13.1 x 8.9 x 0.67 inches and weighs approximately 3.4lbs.
Moreover, it takes advantage of the latest iteration of the Microsoft OS, the Windows 8 platform, and incorporates either one of the Intel Core i7, i5 or i3 processors for enabling users to launch more than one application at the same time and multitask. It can be customized with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and the task of delivering enhanced visuals has been assigned to the Intel HD Graphics 4000 GPU.
And if that’s not enough, the Lenovo device is loaded with a 128GB SSD for additional storage and is embedded with a 1MP HD webcam that can record videos in 720p resolution. The Bluetooth- and Wi-Fi-certified notebook also sports two USB ports, an HDMI output, a combo jack and a 2-in-1 card reader.
Another device that has dropped anchor on this country’s shores is the IdeaPad Yoga 11 which has been outfitted with a 11.6-inch HD wide-viewing angle touchscreen. Featuring up to 64GB of storage, it tags along 2GB of DDR3 RAM and operates with the help of Windows RT. It acquires multitasking properties from the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and is incorporated with a battery that claims to be capable of coughing up the juice for usage time of as much as 13 hours.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13 carries a price tag of Rs. 84,290 and the Yoga 11 will be up for grabs for Rs. 61,790.
