As promised earlier, the 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Note is now available through AT&T stores in the U.S. Users who do not wish to wait for the rumored 10.1 version of this tablet-smartphone crossbreed or even the newly announced LG Optimus Vu, can head to the carrier’s stores or grab their slab online via the official website.

This smartphone shows off a 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that is compatible with the accompanying S Pen. The stylus support facilitates drawing, taking notes in free-form handwriting or sketching on the device. Moreover, the S Memo application simplifies sharing, as it captures all the content taken down by the S Pen.

“The Galaxy Note brings a new level of efficiency to busy customers who would normally rely on multiple devices. This new breed of smartphone helps consumers accomplish more with a single device than ever before. The unique all-in-one experience can simplify daily life while tapping into AT&T’s 4G LTE network to let customers work even faster,” quoted Jeff Bradley, senior vice president, Devices, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, while announcing its pre-orders.

The slab featuring 16GB onboard memory, is embedded with a microSD card slot for additional storage. It employs a 1.4GHz processor under the hood for multitasking properties and runs the Android Gingerbread platform. The multimedia-ready hybrid device is equipped with an 8MP primary camera and a 2MP front facing webcam to record videos, capture still shots as well as engage in video calling.

The Samsung Galaxy Note priced at $299 (approx. Rs. 14,855), is now available through AT&T stores and the official web portal. It requires a two-year customer agreement and monthly data plans. The unlocked version can be picked up for $649.99 (approx. Rs. 31,975).
