Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD

The Verizon Motorola Droid Razr HD and Razr Maxx HD have arrived at stores in the US for those who want to upgrade to a newer version of the Droid. These HD versions of the previously released Droid Razrs have been blessed with better battery lives and high definition screens amongst a number of other improvements.

First up is the Maxx HD that is integrated with a 1.5GHz dual core processor and 1GB of LP DDR2 RAM for multitasking properties, in addition to a 3300mAh lithium-ion battery for usage time of close to 32 hours on a single charge. A 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD touchscreen of 1280 x 720p resolution is accompanied by an 8MP rear camera and a 1.3MP webcam. The Ice Cream Sandwich-enabled phone ships with 32GB internal memory and an expansion slot for a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity.

Black And White

The Razr HD is pretty much similar to the aforementioned device and features Kevlar fiber as well as a water-repellant coating along with Corning Gorilla Glass for resisting scratches. The front panel sports a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD multi-touch display and a 1.3MP camera, while an 8MP snapper sits on the flip side. A 1.5GHz dual core processor, 1GB LP DDR2 RAM, 16GB onboard memory and a 2530mAh battery rest under the hood. The handset in question runs Ice Cream Sandwich and can cough up the juice for usage time of about 24 hours.

The Verizon Motorola Droid Razr HD carries a price tag of $199.99 (approx. Rs. 10,765), while the Maxx HD can be picked up for $299.99 (approx. Rs. 16,150) with a two-year contract and qualifying data plans.
