The Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is on its way, says this particular network provider who has announced its price for $299.99. But if only it were that simple; buyers will have to tie themselves to a lengthy two-year contract.

Here’s what users can expect from this smartphone-cum-tablet – It munches on the Jelly Bean platform fueled by the company’s Exynos quad core processor operating at 1.6GHz. The front panel is dominated by a large 5.5-inch 720p HD Super AMOLED display with a 1.9MP secondary camera in tow. Other prime highlights include the S Pen and its associated functionality, an 8MP rear-facing snapper and 4G LTE connectivity.

Potential Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users will be able to select between a wide-range of plans offered by the network provider, including the Truly Unlimited 4G LTE tariff for web browsing, text and calls. Otherwise, there are also the Everything Data schemes that cover internet surfing, messaging and dial ups at a starting cost of $79.99 a month. Those intent on purchasing the handset will also be able to pick it up through other carriers like U.S. Cellular, AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile.

The smartphone will go up for sale in Germany through Vodafone and in India via Snapdeal.
