Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 decks up in black and brown

Black Brown

Apart from the market-ready marble white and pebble blue hues, the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 will soon be available drenched in shades of black and brown, providing potential buyers with ample color options to select from. Last we heard, the black 16GB SIM-free variant of the handset toddled into the UK and was available for purchase on a no-contract basis.

This report was dug up by the guys over at Droid Life, who spotted a sign-up sheet on the front page of the Verizon online store. On subscribing to it, users will receive updates with regards to the availability details of both variants. The carrier is likely to stick to the same price as it is just a basic color difference.

In our last report, we had talked about the significance behind each shade. The sapphire black color has taken its inspiration from the dark stones found in countries like India and Persia. These gems have been used from centuries together as a symbol for protection. As for the amber brown hue, the company has based this color on a gemstone that’s mystifying in nature.

This is apparently not the first time a network provider has offered the smartphone in shades other than the two regular ones. AT&T has already launched the Samsung Galaxy S3 across the US in an exclusive garnet red color. And it is quite obvious that potential buyers will be soon seeing the smartphone in many more hues.
