The Nokia Asha 305, Asha 306 and Asha 311 have been recently launched into the company’s Asha collection which was unveiled in October 2011. The new releases are said to offer a range of options varying from color choices to quicker web browsing to social networking to gaming.

The full-touch devices aim to deliver an experience that should render a comparatively better battery life clubbed with less data utilization expenses. Fueled by a 1GHz processor, the Asha 311 features a 3.5G capacitive touchscreen. The Asha 305 is packaged with an Easy Swap dual SIM feature, while the Asha 306 offers Wi-Fi connectivity.

The phones come with Nokia Browser 2.0 that incorporates the company’s cloud technology. The aforementioned feature cuts data consumption up to 90% in order to render quicker and more affordable access to the internet. The Nokia Asha 311 offers easy access to various networking sites including Facebook and Twitter and it also supports applications like WhatsApp.

McDowell, Nokia’s executive vice president for Mobile Phones. “These phones deliver on what young, urban people value most – a great-looking device; and an intuitive and affordable experience for connecting to the internet, to their friends, and to a world of entertainment, web apps and content.”

The Asha 311 has an integrated 3.2MP snapper, built in Nokia Maps and the 15 level pre-loaded version of Angry Birds. The Asha 305 happens to embed a 2MP camera and Nokia Maps, while the Asha 306 supports GPRS and WLAN. Both are crafted to show a 3-inch WQVGA resistive touchscreen.

The Nokia Asha 305 price is €63 (approx. Rs. 4,350) and it will be available by July 2012. The Asha 306 and Asha 311 can be purchased at €68 (approx. Rs. 4,700) and €92 (approx. Rs. 6,350), respectively. The handsets will be available by September this year.
