The current surge of smartphones may have taken the market by storm, but that has not deterred a certain Finnish manufacturer from releasing basic devices such as the Nokia Asha 202 in India. The dual SIM touch and type phone was unveiled at the MWC back in February and is now being offered in the country along with a free 100MB data plan per SIM card.
The handset dons a 2.4-inch touchscreen on its front panel in addition to a traditional numeric keypad for input flexibility. The device features the Easy Swap technology to switch between SIM cards, while its dedicated SIM manager is said to remember the settings of up to five SIM cards. Some other attributes like a 2MP camera, FM radio, music player and more have been thrown into the mix. The Bluetooth enabled Nokia Asha 200 is also embedded with an expansion slot for a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity.

It comes drenched in shades of gold, silver, black, dark grey, dark red and white. The manufacturer has loaded this mobile phone with an EA games pack for access to over 40 games worth Rs. 4,000. The Nimbuzz chat client has been included to allow users to engage in social networking, whereas its Nokia browser can be utilized for internet surfing on the move. The aforementioned free 100MB data will be available through five leading network providers namely – Reliance, Aircel, Airtel, Vodafone and Tata Docomo.
The dual SIM Nokia Asha 202 price in India is tagged at Rs. 4,149 and it is now available for purchase.
