Verizon HTC Droid DNA renders leaked, may be releasing on November 13

Event Invite

It seems the Verizon HTC Droid DNA is all set to go official after surfacing on the internet through leaked images, as both companies have decided to hold an event on November 13. Considering that the aforementioned device has been hogging the limelight for quite some time now, it could very well be unveiled at the event.

Not long ago, the HTC DLX, another 5-inch phone that was believed to be the US bound-version of the J Butterfly had showed up and there may be a possibility that this smartphone will make its debut next Tuesday. But the DNA also seems probable as its renders have been leaked by evleaks, who has successfully uncovered a number of devices in the past.

As for the event, the Taiwanese manufacturer has joined hands with the big red carrier and sent out invites that talk about their ‘latest collaboration.’ The guys over at Pocketnow have received the invite that refrains from giving out any more details about what’s in store. And that’s not all. The website also stumbled upon a picture via Droid Life which clearly mentions that a certain Droid DNA by HTC is definitely on the cards.

According to that photo, the phone in question is the proud owner of a 5-inch high definition multi-touch display. Prospective users can also expect a 2MP front-mounted webcam and an 8MP camera that is embedded on the back panel of the device. The other features are inclusive of Beats Studio Audio as well as HTC Sense.

These specifications appear pretty similar to those of the J Butterfly that has been introduced in Japan. It is outfitted with a 5-inch LCD 3 FHD touchscreen and a 2.1MP webcam in addition to an 8MP primary camera. Based on the Jelly Bean platform, the handset gains steam from a 1.5GHz quad core processor and 2GB of RAM.

The 4G LTE Butterfly has built-in Wi-Fi and it also features Bluetooth 4.0, 16GB onboard memory and an expansion slot for a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity. It draws power from a 2020mAh battery.
