T-Mobile USA collaborates with Apple, may start selling iPhone 5 in 2013

T-Mobile iPhone 5

Deutsche Telekom has revealed that T-Mobile USA will start selling Apple products and perhaps the iPhone 5 starting next year, but it chooses to keep details under wraps for now. Both the concerned companies have already signed on the dotted line of a contract and made an official announcement to confirm the collaboration.

Besides rolling out new devices, the telecom company has decided to utilize its investment volume for the financial year for broadband infrastructure to roll out LTE network. It had disclosed earlier this year that it will be bringing LTE connectivity to the US in 2013. A combination of Apple devices and the fast internet speed should work towards attracting even more customers to T-Mobile. What remains to be seen is whether it will stock up on one of the available gadgets or wait for Apple to come up with new iteration of the iPhone and the iPad.

While a number of carriers in the US including Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T and even Cricket have been offering the sixth generation iPhone, T-Mobile has conspicuously stayed away from all Apple products. But this won’t be the case anymore, considering that now the service provider has entered into an agreement with the Cupertino-based conglomerate.

Apart from the iPhone 5 that may be picked up by the network provider, T-Mobile USA may also carry the latest generation Apple tablet that goes by the name iPad with Retina display as well as the newest gadget from the company, that is, the iPad mini. Both of these slates have hit availability status in the country through AT&T, Verizon and Sprint as well.

Moreover, the unlocked variants of this and previous generation iPhones have been made available and they may be running on the T-Mobile’s network in the country. The newest Apple smartphone is already available in over 45 countries and will soon be making its debut in over 50 nations in December itself.

Although T-Mobile and Apple haven’t disclosed anything about the availability of products as yet, we are hoping that the iPhone 5 will be among the first few devices that will hit the former’s retail and online stores in the coming months.
