AT&T HTC One X now available in the US

The AT&T HTC One X has finally been made available in the US. The device that went up for pre-order last month, started shipping yesterday. Users have an option to pick it up in shades of white or gray.

The flagship device from the company proudly flaunts the Android Ice Cream Sandwich certification and is tweaked with the latest version of HTC Sense. Its internal working is carried out under the supervision of the 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. The 4.7-inch multi-touch display of the phone is reinforced with a laminated glass, a touch layer and Corning Gorilla glass to cut down on reflection, while resisting scratches.

This smartphone has been fitted with an 8MP rear-facing camera that tags along a number of attributes including a back illuminated sensor, an f/2.0 28mm lens, continuous zoom, dual LED flash, 1080p video recording capabilities and more. The ImageSense technology and the new ImageChip further enhance the picture quality. Moreover, users can also click pictures while recording videos via their One X.

As most other HTC devices, the phone in question boasts of the Dr. Dre certification that also ensures compatibility with Beats Audio accessories. A front-facing camera has even been added to the mix, in addition to some other features such as Bluetooth, the Sync Manager software, an HDMI connector and more.

The AT&T HTC One X price and availability details suggest it can now be purchased for $199.99 (approx. Rs. 10,400) along with a two-year contract and qualifying data plans. The no-commitment price of the device stands at $549.99 (approx. Rs. 29,350).
