HTC One X, One V drop anchor in India

Since the One series HTC One X and One V smartphones have already launched their globetrotting escapades, it was just a matter of time before they entered India. The latest update on this front confirms the arrival of the aforementioned devices in the country. The manufacturer has also joined hands with Airtel to offer some interesting deals for the latter’s subscribers.

Both the devices run the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform and are deployed with HTC Sense 4.0 that tags along attributes like audio enhancements, ImageSense and 25GB Dropbox storage amongst others. The improved sound quality can be attributed to the integration of Beats by Dr. Dre. Also, the HTC Sync Manager software for Windows and Mac facilitates transferring songs wirelessly to the handsets, from the systems.

The lightweight HTC One X comes encased in a polycarbonate unibody featuring a high gloss piano finish and a matte back panel. Its 1.5GHz quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor incorporates another battery saver core and is accompanied by the 12-core Nvidia GPU for rendering decent graphics. The 4.7-inch 720p HD multi-touch screen has been reinforced with Corning Gorilla glass for protection against scrapes and scratches.

The Jupiter rock colored One V made of aluminum, flaunts a 3.7-inch touchscreen of 480 x 800p resolutions. Its 1GHz processor teams up with 512MB RAM to allow users to carry out multiple operations at once. The 5MP camera with ImageSense is capable of recording videos and captures still shots in about 0.7 seconds. The expansion slot of the handset can be utilized to increase the 4GB onboard memory with the help of a microSD card.

The HTC One X and One V price and availability details have been confirmed by the company. The white and grey colored X variant priced at Rs. 42,999 MRP, can be purchased for an MOP of Rs. 37,899. The One V that carries an MRP price tag of Rs. 19,999, can be picked up for Rs. 18,299 MOP.
