Almost a couple of weeks after the Snow Lizard Aqua Tek S Kickstarter project made its presence felt in the tech terrain, the company now intends to endow it with a number of add-ons. As stated by the developers, this battery boosting case for iPhone 4 and 4S will feature a host of advancements proposed by the Kickstarter community.
Some of the upgrades include a front-facing camera opening, double lock latch mechanism, improved audio in and out as well as longer battery life among others. The team also plans to improve its major highlight, the solar charging mechanism. Moreover, updates related to a proximity sensor opening and quarter turn microUSB lock are being worked on too.
The manufacturer has already touched the expected goal for this initiative, though Kickstarter visitors still have time in hand to back this project. The distinct accessory is a water-, dust- and shock-proof sheath that increases the battery life of the phone by its solar powered platform.
As far as its underwater capabilities are concerned, this peripheral claims to withstand up to a depth of 20 feet. Adding to the overall ruggedness is the polycarbonate outer chassis that sports a rubbery exterior for a firm grip.
