The Motorola Defy XT and Defy Mini for India are said to be rugged enough to endure everything that their users’ ‘adventurous lifestyles throw at them.’ These devices boast of being able to withstand dust, spills as well as scratches and carry affordable price tags that do not burn a huge hole in the pocket.

The multi-touch displays of the 3.7-inch Defy XT and the 3.2-inch Defy Mini are reinforced with Corning Gorilla glass. They employ a 1650mAh battery each for talk time of close to 9 hours. The IP67 certified Gingerbread devices are even loaded with MotoSwitch UI that saves user preferences like favorite songs, apps and more for instant access.

The Defy XT is armed with a 5MP primary camera with attributes like flash and auto focus in addition to a front-facing VGA snapper. It is fueled by a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM. The dual SIM Defy Mini is equipped with a 3MP shooter as well as a front-mounted webcam for video calling and acquires multitasking properties from a 600MHz chipset. Both Wi-Fi enabled smartphones feature built-in GPS, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack and a microSD card slot.

The Motorola Defy XT and Defy Mini prices in India are Rs. 16,190 and Rs. 11,490, respectively. The former is now available in the country through select retailers, while the latter will hit store shelves on June 20.
