LG Optimus L7 coming to Europe this week

The LG Optimus L7 that forms a part of the company’s L-series lineup, has followed the Samsung Galaxy S III into Europe. The announcement about the device’s arrival was made along with the release of the Optimus LTE 2 by the Korean manufacturer.

This smartphone claims to stick to the design-centric L-style philosophy for an elegant appearance complete with metallic edges, without compromising on essential features. It dons a WVGA display that offers a multi-touch real estate of 4.3 inches and gorges on the Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS. The Google mobile platform is said to bring some advanced features for users along with an intuitive user interface for better navigation.

The L7 is a significant addition to our L-Series portfolio and we are confident that it’ll prove highly attractive to users. The Cortex A5 MSM 7227A chipset of the device processes at a speed of 1GHz and allows running multiple applications at the same time. The sleek phone measuring about 8.7mm in thickness, packs in a 1,7000mAh battery and ships with 2.7GB internal memory. It has been added with an expansion slot that supports a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity. The rear-facing 5MP camera with auto focus and LED flash is accompanied by a front-facing VGA webcam for recording videos as well as engaging in video conferencing.

The LG Optimus L7 release date and price for Europe has not been announced. The handset will be made available in Asia too.
