LG Optimus G AT&T, Sprint to arrive in the US soon

The LG Optimus G AT&T and Sprint will soon make its debut in the US with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and support for 4G LTE connectivity. As per the company’s claims, its flagship device is amongst the world’s first to offer ‘quad core power’ with LTE speeds.

The smartphone was unveiled back in August and it has been under speculation a couple of times with regards to the processor, display and battery life. The device packs in a 4.7-inch True HD Plus touch panel in addition to a 1.5GHz quad core Krait CPU that assists the Ice Cream Sandwich platform in smooth operations. Under the hood, a 2,100mAh battery juices up the phone with a lifespan of 800 cycles. For this particular handset, the company has included attributes like the QSlide, Live Zooming, Dual Screen Dual Play and Icon Personalizer.

On the rear, the phone is fitted with either a 13MP or an 8MP primary camera that tags along a host of features such as Cheese Shutter, Smart Shutter and Low Light Shot Noise Reduction. The Time Catch Shot highlight lets users select the best still from the ones captured prior to the shutter button being pressed. A 1.3MP front-facing camera for video conferencing and self-portraits has also made it to the specifications list.

Along with the price of the LG Optimus G AT&T and Sprint, the associated carriers are yet to shed light on the device’s US release date details. The handset is currently up for purchase across Korea.
