The Samsung Galaxy Beam that was last seen at the MWC 2012, is now up for grabs in the UK, reveals the official Clove blog. Currently up for pre-order, the price and availability details of the device have been laid down on its product page on Clove.

The integrated projector of this Gingerbread based device offers bright 15 lumens projection. The smartphone’s front panel is dominated by a 4-inch TFT WVGA multi-touch display that renders visuals in 480 x 800p resolutions. Fueled by a 1GHz dual core processor and 1GB RAM, it comes with 8GB onboard memory and an expansion slot for a microSDHC card of up to 32GB capacity.

The rear side of this 3G enabled phone is dotted with a 5MP camera that boasts of attributes like auto focus and flash amongst others. Users can also engage in video conferencing with a little assistance from the front facing 1.3MP snapper. Moreover, the multimedia ready handset extends support to most common audio and video formats including MP3, AAC, MPEG4, WMV and more.

Powered by a 2000mAh battery, this Samsung offering provides communication options like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in addition to a microUSB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, a dedicated button on the phone facilitates launching the projector function almost instantly. Needless to say, it lets users access the Google Play Store and tags along most Google Mobile services.

The Samsung Galaxy Beam price and availability have been revealed, although Clove is yet to announce its exact shipping date. The device can now be pre-ordered and its price tag reads £442.80 (approx. Rs. 35,930), including VAT.
