The Major Nelson blog reveals that the manufacturer will release the controller in shades of blue, red and silver.

Although the gaming peripheral will come in three hues, the company says that the color availability will vary for different regions. One Xbox 360 console can support as many as four controllers at a time. Apt for Xbox Live play, it has been integrated with a headset port for connecting the audio peripheral. A longer power life can probably be ensured as the controller gives users an option to adjust the vibration feedback and save up on the battery. Additionally, the guide button on it should help users with tracking down friends, accessing games and switching the console on or off.

The Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome Series wireless controller will be available in May for a price of $54.99 (approx. Rs. 2,780) a pop.
