Besides the Focus 2, the CTIA 2012 also witnessed the release of the next generation Incredible smartphone dubbed Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE. The phone tags along advanced imaging capabilities and faster internet connectivity in addition to multimedia features including Beats Audio.
The 4G LTE enabled smartphone gets its intuitive user interface from the Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform as well as HTC Sense 4.0. The 8MP camera of this device can directly be launched from the homescreen and allows users to click pictures when recording videos with the help of HTC Video Pic. While folders can be created on the start screen, the customizable handset facilitates accessing four applications from the lock screen itself.
Additionally, the Read Later function has been added for saving web content to the native device for offline reading. The NFC certified Droid Incredible is a multimedia ready smartphone and should keep users entertained while on the move. Its Beats Audio integration claims to make for a better acoustic experience by delivering crisp highs, soaring midrange and thundering bass.
The phone’s multitasking capabilities can be attributed to the 1.2GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and the extended battery life is due to the 1,700mAh lithium-ion removable battery. Outfitted with a 4-inch Super LCD qHD touchscreen, it extends support to a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity. The Wi-Fi enabled handset also acts as a hotspot to share its 4G LTE network with up 10 mobile devices.
The Verizon HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE release date and price are yet to be revealed. It is expected to hit Verizon Wireless Communication stores and the official carrier website in the coming weeks.
