SIM-free Nokia Lumia 800 now shipping in the UK

The Finnish manufacturer’s flagship device, the Windows Phone based Nokia Lumia 800 which was last seen on Expansys for the U.S. has now crossed the ocean to make itself available in the UK. The SIM-free variant of the handset has started shipping, reports the Clove blog.

The stylish phone sports a slim unibody design and tips the scale at 142 grams. Deployed with the Windows Phone Mango platform, it draws power from a 1.4GHz processor and 512MB RAM. Besides an internal storage of 16GB, it allows utilizing 25GB Dropbox storage, free of charge. The handset with dimensions 16.5 x 61.2 x 12.1 millimeters dons a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with curved glass.

The 8MP front-facing camera comes with features such as autofocus and LED flash in addition to Carl Zeiss lens to ensure clear high definition pictures and videos. This device boasts of its 3G capabilities in addition to wireless communication options like Bluetooth version 2.1, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and GPRS.
