Unveiled last month, the HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio has finally started retailing from today. This smartphone that’s said to be apt for music lovers is now available through online retailer Clove UK.
The HTC handset comes bundled with a customized Beats headset and promises to deliver an audio experience rich in bass, clarity and treble. It measures a mere 9.9mm in thickness and is embedded with a 4.7-inch 800 x 480p Super LCD scratch resistant display. Powered by a 1.5GHz processor, this device arrives integrated with a 1.3MP front and an 8MP rear facing camera featuring an f2.2 lens, dual LED flash and lets users shoot videos in 720p HD.
Running on Android Gingerbread, the 162.5g smartphone features the HTC Sense user interface and is incorporated with 16GB internal storage along with 768MB RAM. The connectivity options that it offers include Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, DLNA for streaming media from the phone to a compatible TV or computer wirelessly and Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n.
The Sensation XL provides talk time and standby time of up to 710 minutes and 360 hours, respectively on GSM networks. Measuring 132.5mm x 70.7mm x 9.9mm, it operates on a 1600mAh Li-ion battery and gives users access to popular movies through the preloaded HTC Watch feature. Furthermore, this HTC device features an in-built GPS antenna and is capable of supporting almost all audio and video formats.
