Bringing in more news about the HTC handsets, HTC recently enunciated that it will employ its numerous smartphone with Super LCD technology including the HTC Desire and global Nexus One.

The new SLCD display will deliver natural balanced color, clear contrasts, broad viewing angles, and enhanced power efficiency. Samsung AMOLED division could not satisfy HTC and so they decided to swap to SLCD display, reports Engadget.

“HTC is experiencing high-demand for many of our phones, specifically our phones with 3.7 inch displays. The new SLCD display technology enables us to ramp up our production capabilities quickly to meet the high-demand. The SLCD displays provide consumers with a comparable visual experience to HTC’s current 3.7 inch displays with some additional benefits including battery performance,” shared Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation.

The SLCD technology is the latest generation of LCD technology which ensures to offer augmented visual performance. SLCDs also deliver an improved viewing experience with wider viewing angles which are enabled by Sony’s new VSPEC III technology.

Hopefully, this new SLCD technology will be incorporated really soon in the new HTC handsets.
