Samsung delivers portable entertainment with Omnia 7 handset

With Windows Phone 7 handsets lining up to captivate to mobile phone market, multiple manufacturers seem to have been producing smartphone based on the latest OS. Samsung has now crafted a device to entertain users while on the move, the Omnia 7. Sporting the Galaxy S lineup’s trademark 4-inch SUPER AMOLED touchscreen, this handset flaunts a 1GHz application processor and a 5 megapixel camera.

The elegant Omnia 7 boasts of a metallic body and crystal clear sound quality to enchant users. Gamers can seamlessly take advantage of access to Xbox Live, while multimedia buffs can enjoy their favorite titles while on the go with access to a host of video and music content through Zune. Users can also sync their content from PC to the smartphone using Wi-Fi to listen to their own library of tracks, regardless of the location.

Simplification of tasks and organization of information is carried out by the Windows Phone Hubs. Owners can simply customize the device’s homescreen that features live Tiles which displays real-time updates from the Web, appointments, social media status, new, and more. Along with a 5MP camera, it comes with LED flash for capturing those special moments. Further, social butterflies can stay in touch with their loved ones just with the help of a single touch.

The novel Samsung Omnia 7 smartphone is anticipated to be available in select markets during the holiday season.
