HTC Tattoo Handset

These days tattoo is more than just an imprint on one’s skin. HTC has now introduced the HTC Tattoo, an Android based phone that will offer broad personalization as it has been conceived for users who like customizing their handsets. With this piece one can now personalize hardware, application and content.

HTC Tattoo is the second handset to incorporate the HTC Sense, a mobile experience that has been designed for putting people at the centre. It will allow users to stay close to all the important people in their lives through several alternatives such as voice calls, emails, texts, photos and status updates into one consolidated view, providing inventive and entertaining phone experiences.

“Everyone wants their own phone to feel like it was specifically made for them. The Tattoo, with HTC Sense represents an easy way to shape your own distinct mobile experience and really make it your own,” said Peter Chou, Chief Executive Officer, HTC Corporation. “The HTC Tattoo ensures that you can create the most engaging and appropriate mobile experience through simple yet powerful personalization.”

This device is also small and compact and thus snugly fits into the user’s hands or pockets. The handset allows further personalization by giving one the option to purchase unique cover designs. Thus, users can now search and select from popular cover designs to suit their moods and tastes.

The other features that this device comes loaded with include Google’s innovative mobile services namely Google Maps, search, Google Mail, with an Android market where one can download thousands of popular applications and games. The hardware features of this device are 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm stereo headset jack and expandable microSD memory.

This handset will be available in Europe from the beginning of the next month and can be expected to hit markets worldwide in due course.
