Asus unleashes N61 and N71 multimedia notebooks

Taking the markets by surprise is something Asus is good at as the company has been in news for new and innovative products. Well, this time they plan to bring in ‘futurism’ by launching their latest N61 and N71 notebooks, which incorporate ‘new wave’ designs, claims the company.

These latest notebooks promise to provide audio and video enjoyment of the highest level that has never been experienced before. Both these devices have been made with the SonicMaster design that will offer unparalleled audio reproduction. This can be achieved by utilizing a paper-foam cone design, which dramatically perks up the sound quality across the diverse sonic ranges.

Apart from this, these notebooks offer a gamut of other high performance audio solutions such as Altec Lansing speakers and SRS Premium Sound.

Both N61 and N71 notebooks will feature graphics powered by GeForce GT 240M graphics card that comes along with 1GB DDRIII memory. This feature supplies true-to-life graphics and breathtaking vibrancy along with clarity. The Nvidia CUDA technology on the other hand ensures that demanding tasks run faster than they did previously. The other features that both the devices incorporate include Video Magic software pack, this upscales the resolution of conventional DVDs.

The N61 comes with a 16-inch display while the N71 has a 17.3-inch display and both are LED-backlit. These futurist notebooks also promise to be reminiscent of High Definition televisions and feature 16:9 aspect ratio.

The other features that the N71 includes is support for dual headphone input, or 5.1 channel output, the subwoofer further enhance the bass reproduction. This notebook also features 1-terabyte of hard disk drive storage.
