We had earlier reported about the Motorola Renew W233 mobile phone. Made from recycled water bottles, the phone now makes it way to USA via T-Mobile. It is a completely recyclable handset and a perfect phone for eco-conscious customers.

The mobile phone provides all the features and qualities that one would expect from Motorola and is also the world’s first carbon neutral cellphone. It is completely made from plastic bottles and its packaging is also made from 100 percent recycled materials.

“We are excited to offer T-Mobile customers the first opportunity to purchase a mobile phone that takes the environment into account – from the product’s design using recycled plastics, to reducing the packaging material by 22 percent, as well as our partnership with Carbonfund.org,” exclaimed Jeff Miller, vice president, sales, Motorola Mobile Devices. “Priced affordably, Renew makes it easy for consumers to think about their impact on the environment when purchasing a mobile phone.”

The Moto W233 is a dual band GSM phone and features a 1.6inch display screen. The phone include features like text and picture messages, wallpapers, MegaTones, music player and games. The Renew phone also supports T-Mobile’s myFave and the CrystalTalk technology for noise reduction. The phone’s battery life serves a talktime of upto 9 hours and supports a 2GB microSD card slot.

The MOTO Renew W233 is available at select T-Mobile retail stores for $9.99 with a two year service agreement.
