Nokia’s most awaited handset, the E72 is finally up for pre-order on Amazon. After its unveiling back in June, this handset has been out of rumors for quite some time now. The E72 is the successor to one of Nokia’s finest handsets, the E71. Owing to this fact, the expectations from this handset are quite high.
Designed specifically for Internet savvy users, the E72 comes with a sleek frame and a full QWERTY keypad. The phone connects to the Internet via a HSDPA connection and boasts of connectivity speeds up to 10.2Mbps. The optical navigation key allows users to swiftly navigate between web pages.
The E72 flaunts a 5 megapixel camera and a 3.5mm audio jack. The jack is placed at the top of the device for added convenience. This Nokia handset also offers support for various IM clients like Yahoo Messenger, Google talk and Ovi.
The Nokia N72 is currently up for pre-order on Amazon. The site has quoted a price of $469 (approx. Rs. 22,340) for this unlocked, US version handset.
