3G iPhone Announcement is likely to be on 9th June, say Analysts

According to Citi analysts, Apple’s WorldWide Developers Conference (which is scheduled from 9 to 13 June) could be “the” event that will see the announcement of the highly anticipated 3G version of iPhone. The date precisely is slated to be 9th of June 2008.

Citi analysts Richard Gardner and Yeechang Lee also stated that they also expect an updated Mac laptop and iPod lines. The 3G iPhone will be the “first of an impressive wave of new products” from Apple.
