Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte Announced in India

Nokia has rolled out its latest mobile phone, named 8800 Sapphire Arte, in the Indian market. The Finnish handset maker boasts that this phone is an ideal device proving the cliché ‘technology meets elegance’.

This stylish mobile phone has been inspired by nature and offers the essence of timeless beauty and fine craftsmanship.

The new model in the Nokia 8800 line-up features a 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera with 8x digital zoom, 3G capabilities, stunning 2.0-inch OLED display with up to 16 million colors that delivers 240×320 pixels and 1GB of internal storage capacity.

In addition, the mobile phone is also equipped with anti-fingerprint coating that reduces smudges, which are placed on the metal and glass, and Ambient light sensor that has the ability to adjust screen brightness automatically along with an all-in-one microUSB connector.

Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte sets the benchmark for quality and craftsmanship. To make the phone more stylish, elegant and sophisticated, it is housed in a polished steel case with a genuine sapphire gemstone and an accent of soft brown napa leather.

A unique thing about this phone is that users can access to tap-for-time and turn-to-mute features. If they double tap on the steel surface below the display, an analogue clock appears.

Besides, you can even put the incoming call on silent mode by turning over the phone, screen-side down. You will also find a unique and exclusive soundtrack that has been composed by internationally-acclaimed master producers Kruder & Dorfmeister with visuals by Fritz Fitzke.

Sadly, Nokia has not disclosed the price and the availability of the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte mobile phone.
