Expanding the very popular ROKR portfolio, Motorola has launched its latest music phone, dubbed MOTOROKR EM30, in the Indian shores.
The latest music-optimized candy bar handset takes advantage of Motorola’s ModeShift technology that enlightens the keyboard with just a touch of a button. Offering a colorful experience of navigation and usage, the EM30 phone elucidates red light during music mode and illuminates keypad with blue light while on phone mode.
Speaking on the launch of the EM30 phone, Lloyd Mathias, senior director & head of Sales & Distribution, India & South West Asia, Motorola Mobile Devices, stated, “We offer an exciting new mobile music experience with the ROKR EM30. Besides, the feature-rich handset flaunts music-oriented specifications such as an ability to enjoy high-fidelity audio and MP3 downloads, a stereo FM radio with Radio Data System, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, support for Windows Media Player 11 to organize and transfer music and MOTOMUSIC compatibility.
In addition, the MOTOROKR EM30 phone sports CrystalTalk technology to maintain crisp and clear sound quality even in noisy environments, a built-in speaker and stereo Bluetooth wireless technology.
Apart from music features, the phone employs a 27 MB on-board memory with up to 8 GB optional microSD card, Text-to-speech recognition, advanced audio equalizers with 3D stereo sound, a 2 megapixel camera with 8X zoom and up to eight multi-shot pictures. It claims to offer a talk time of up to 360 minutes and standby time of up to 300 hours.
The MOTOROKR EM30 music phone, which shines either cherry red and silver color palette, carries a price tag of Rs 8,959. It is available in India through MOTOSTOREs, MOTOSTORE Lites and other retail stores.
