BlackBerry Pearl 8810 Smartphone unveiled in India

BlackBerry Pearl 8810 Two major mobile network operators in India, Vodafone and Airtel have announced to introduce RIM’s BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone in the country. The new Pearl 8110 phone offers rich multimedia experience and is also equipped with built-in GPS.

Access to up to 10 supported email accounts using BlackBerry Internet Service and corporate email and data systems via BlackBerry Enterprise Server would be the main attraction of the Pearl 8110.

Other features of the Pearl 8110 smartphone are:

  • 2 megapixel camera with enhanced flash and 5x digital zoom
  • Media Player
  • microSD/ SDHC memory card slot
  • Bluetooth 2.0
  • QWERTY keyboard
  • Support for Instant Messaging clients including BlackBerry Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk
  • Talking about the new arrival on the shelves, Harit Nagpal, Marketing and New Business Director, Vodafone Essar said, “The sleek new BlackBerry Pearlâ„¢ 8110 is yet another convenient and stylish Smartphone solution for our customers. With its novel features the new model is designed to support our customers’ business and personal needs.”

    The BlackBerry Pearl 8810 will be available with Vodafone and Airtel at the price of Rs. 24,990.
