Sony Ericsson expands Cyber-shot, Walkman, G and Z Series with New Arrivals

Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot and Z series Phones

With Xperia X1, Sony Ericsson has also launched five other mobile phones at the Mobile World Congress. The new phones belong to the different series. The latest arrivals are C702 and C902 from Cyber-shot series, W980 from Walkman series and Z770 and two phones in the G series namely G700 and G900.

The Z770 phone is a flap style phone that seems to be targeted at fashion oriented people. The phone is especially made for internet usage. Fast Web access with HSDPA, pre-installed Google Maps for mobile, and email facility are the key features of the Z770. Users also can use the phone as a model and connect it to the laptop for surfing the web. Besides, the phone is also equipped with a 2.0 megapixel camera with 2.5x digital zoom, Bluetooth, USB support are the other features of the Z770 phone.

Sony Ericsson also has enhanced its Cyber-shot series with two new devices namely C702 and C902. The C702 features 3.2 MP camera with 2x digital zoom while the C902 is equipped with a 5 megapixel camera and 2.5x digital zoom. Both the phones boast photography related features such as Face Detection, Photo fix and picture blogging. Moreover, the C902 has Auto rotate and Image stabilizer features also. Like the Z770, the C702 model will come with pre-installed Google Maps for mobile. Both the phones are expected to be available in Q2 of 2008.

Sony Ericsson G and Walkman series Phones

The G series G 700 and G900 phones feature 3.2 megapixel camera and 5MP camera respectively. However the G900 sports auto-focus feature that makes clicking photos easier. Also it boasts features like Wi-Fi, One touch media experience, and a 2.4-inch display with single touch control menu. On the other hand the G 700’s key features are One-touch full organizer functions, Touch controlled Notes application and 2.4″ display with unique single touch control menu. Both the G series phones are expected to be hit the stores by Q2 of this year.

Last but not the least, the new W980 Walkman series phone features a Walkman player, FM radio with RDS and Shake Control. Also it comes with 8GB internal memory allowing users to store approximately 8000 music files. A 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.2x digital zoom and Bluetooth, are other few important features of the W980 phone. The new Walkman series phone would be available in Q3 of 2008.

In short, consumers can look forward to a plethora of phones from Sony Ericsson this year!
