Nokia N96 Phone Spotted On Nokia’s German Site

Nokia N96 Sometime back, rumors revealed that Nokia N96 will soon be introduced. Now, the predecessor of N95, the Nokia N96 multimedia computer has been noticed on Nokia’s German site. However, there is no official announcement about the same.

Many features have been picked up from Nokia N95. The latest handset features a 2.8-inches screen, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, full GPS, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, quad-band GSM/EDGE and even dual-band WCDMA 3G radios. It is based on S60 3rd Edition platform with Feature Pack 2 that allows the browser to support Flash Lite 3 for richer browsing.

It is said that Australia and Europe is expected to get 3G, whereas the US won’t. The Nokia N96 is equipped with a 5-megapixel camera that records videos at 30 fps along with a second LED flash to capture videos.

Furthermore, it has an extraordinary in-built storage capacity of 16GB and can also be enhanced to 24GB for an additional $80. It also supports DVB-H signals, the mobile TV system. It is different from Qualcomm’s MediaFLO technology, but the end result is the same, mobile TV access.

Pricing and availability of Nokia N96 is not known.
