Sony Ericsson showcases Xperia X1 Smartphone at Mobile World Congress

At the Mobile World Congress, at Barcelona, Sony Ericsson introduced Xperia X1, a slider style smartphone. This is the first phone from Sony Ericsson which has been launched on the Windows Mobile platform.

The new phone from Sony Ericsson features a full QWERTY keyboard, four-way key and optical joystick navigation. Furthermore, the phone is equipped with a 3-inch clear, wide VGA display. The QWERTY is revealed, upon sliding the display upward.

The panel interface of the Xperia X1 allows accessing different experiences such as web, multimedia, applications from the phone’s desktop. Also the panel interface offers users to navigate and configure the nine panels as per the users’ requirements.

Also the Xperia X1 offers advanced features such as high data transfer rate, WiFi support and GPS.

    Information regarding pricing and availability of the Xperia X1 slider style smartphone has not yet been revealed by Sony Ericsson.
