A report flushes out from T-Mobile’s official site stating that T-Mobile Sidekick Slide is faulty. Therefore, the company has decided to suspend the portable device.
After Motorola, the manufacturer of Sidekick Slide confirmed that the Sidekick Slide has been inadvertently powering off when the slide door on the front of the phone is opened or closed. Hence, T-Mobile USA has planned to cease sales for the time being.
However, the company has not yet figured out what is the precise root cause of the power cycle issue.

The Sidekick LX and Sidekick iD models are not facing this issue. These devices have not been built by Motorola, but Sharp. Thus, both the phones are in the market for sales.
