Tata Indicom has introduced the Plug 2 Surf Whiz USB modem device for its customers situated at Maharashtra, India.
The Plug2Surf Whiz is a wireless device, which is compatible with a standard USB port incorporated with most of the PCs and laptops.
On the occasion of launch, Ajay Mathur Vice President Marketing Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Limited (TTML), said “The initial market reaction to the launch of ‘Plug2Surf Whiz’ USB Modem has been extremely encouraging. This product is available both in postpaid and prepaid billing and can be used to access internet anywhere across India by both desktop and laptop users.”
The Plug2Surf Whiz is priced at Rs. 2850 and users can choose various plans from Rs. 299 per month for home users to unlimited data access for the heavy user segment depending on the usage. In addition, the company is also offering special tariffs for night usage.
Tata Telecom has also introduced a special combo offer targeted at college students. College-going youth can acquire a prepaid color handset with the USB modem for as low as Rs. 4452. This offer is available across only 25 colleges in Mumbai.

Please do not buy this card. TATA has launched this card without testing the Billing. I subscribed to 325 Plan and used it for 25 Hours. I started getting bills for Rs. 1800 . Tata has got no support system where one can get his complaint attended. Their call center say things will be attended after 48 hours.
This Card sucks, TATA’s are using this to make quick money.
the internet connection speed is very very slow. it takes minutes to open a normal page and consumes a lot of MB meanwhile. A total waste of using this
I made a big mistake by buying plug 2 surf….I fell for Kajol and now its a big mess…..slow speeds,wrong billing,zero customer care…..absolute s*it…I’ll puke if anybody mentions the name TATA….I’ve told TATA to all TATA products for my life …..its a costly mistake….but I have learnt my lesson….they’ll make you go up and down to their offices…and do all sort of drama….their customer care execs are brainwashed and they act like psychos….they’re just like robots…..I’d personally like to punch them in their nose as hard as I can when somebody say they are from TATA….That’s the kind of irritation and trouble they give to customer…There’s nobody to regulate all these shit telecom companies…TATA is the worst of the lot..they are like beggars out there trying to grab all money they can….hiring good actors like Kajol…Kajol please quit promoting TATA products.. I like Kajol but I hate TATA —my foot.. fuk u guys at TATA….

I have purchased tata plug 2 surf 2 months before in trichy tamilnadu. atleast even for a week not working properly. Error message coming. I have told several times to representatives . not attending uptodate.
