Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S Ultrabook price and release date out now

The Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S Ultrabook release date is set for sometime in June and the device that carries a price tag of under $800 will be available through the official company website and authorized retail channels. Besides this flexible convertible notebook, the Chinese manufacturer’s gadget portfolio that is unveiled at the CES 2013 includes the IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC, Erazer X700, IdeaPad U and Z series, ThinkPad Edge range and more.

The IdeaPad Yoga 11S takes inspiration from the previously introduced Convertible devices and employs a 360-degree hinge to offer tablet as well as laptop functionalities. Optimized for the latest Windows 8 OS, it operates with the help of the third generation Intel Core i processors which tag along multitasking properties and deliver relatively fast web browsing experience. The gadget measures 0.68 inches at its thinnest point and flaunts a soft-touch exterior. Drenched in shades of silver grey and clementine orange, it even has rubber painting on its encasing.

Besides tablet and laptops, the device can be used in the stand mode and the tent mode as well. It works towards keeping users entertained while on the move with its Dolby Home Theater audio and Intel integrated HD graphics. The convertible is fitted with a 11.6-inch HD IPS 10-finger multi-touch screen and is deployed with the Motion Control feature for gesture recognition and Lenovo Transition. Its display with an aspect ratio of 16:9 can render visuals in 1366 x 768p resolution.

The compact Ultrabook weighs note more than 3.1lbs and can even work with the Windows 8 Pro platform. Users have the option to customize it with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and an SSD of not more than 256GB capacity. All Lenovo devices are backed by an In-Home warranty as well as Accidental Damage Protection and some other protection services.
