The price of the Acer TravelMate B113 series is chalked out for the US and Canada and the E-4470, M-6460 and M-6825 models have already hit store shelves in these countries. The high-end variant boasts of gaining steam from the latest Ivy Bridge processors, while the basic one is incorporated with the Intel Pentium 967 chipset.
The devices weigh not more than 3 pounds and measure merely an inch in thickness. Aimed especially at students and other institutional customers, they can be used for creating and sharing digital content in real time. The range is compliant with the Windows 7 operating system and the M-6825 has been optimized to run the Windows 8 Pro platform.

Apt for beginners and advanced users alike, these notebooks draw power from a lithium-ion battery that are said to be capable of coughing up the juice for usage time of close to 7 hours.
The Acer computing devices ship with up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, customizable up to 8GB as well as a SATA hard disk drive. Fitted with a 11.6-inch Acer ComfyView LCD LED backlit display of 16:9 aspect ratio, they can render visuals in 1366 x 768p resolution. This screen has an anti-glare matte surface to cut down on reflections, even in bright sunlight. The laptops even employ a keyboard, embedded with large-sized keys.
