Creating a blend of elegant design and performance, the Asus Zenbook Ultrabook powered by the second generation Intel Core processors is expected to hit order status starting today in the U.S. With five new models, namely the UX21E-DH52, UX21E-DH71, UX31E-DH52, UX31E-DH53 and UX31E-DH72 on the list, the laptops will be available at a starting price of $999 (approx. Rs. 48,900).
Built with a thickness of 0.11-inch in the front and 0.35-inch at its rear, the sleek notebook is equipped with a SATA Revision 3.0 SSD, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0. For keeping all components cool, the company has utilized a custom cooling technology which improves airflow through a v-shaped channel and a copper fin design. Users can apparently enjoy 25% additional battery life owing to the Super Hybrid Engine II technology. Also, for an enhanced entertainment experience, the hardware and software are optimized by the Asus Golden Ear team and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower SonicMaster.

The UX21E-DH52 and UX21E-DH71 notebooks are wrapped with an 11.6-inch HD display, approximately 5 hours of battery life and 1 week on standby whereas, the UX31E-DH52, UX31E-DH53 and UX31E-DH72 each sport a 13.3-inch HD display along with up to 7 hours of activity and 2 weeks on standby. Additionally, the Asus Zenbook Ultrabook device is equipped with the 64-bit edition of Windows 7 Home Premium, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, Wi-Fi b/g/n and a 0.3MP webcam.
The Asus Zenbook Ultrabook will be available for order starting today in the U.S. Where pricing is concerned, the UX21E-DH52 arrives for $999 (approx. Rs. 48,906), the UX21E-DH71 is priced at $1,199 (approx. Rs. 58,697) whilst and the UX31E-DH52 comes with a price tag of $1,099 (approx. Rs. 53,801). The UX31E-DH53 and UX31E-DH72 models are tagged at $1,349 (approx. Rs. 66,040) and $1,499 (approx. Rs. 73,383), respectively.
