Sub-$400 3K Longitude 400 Ultra-Small Notebook PC Launched

3K Computers has introduced its latest diminutive notebook computer, dubbed Longitude 400. This mini notebook UMPC is just 2lbs and incorporates most of the required features, making it an ideal device to carry while on the run.

Featuring a 7-inch LCD TFT display, the tiny laptop includes a full size keyboard, 3 USB connection ports and 1 Ethernet 10/100 LAN port. The Longitude 400 supports AbiWord, Word, GNUMeric, and Excel, thanks to the Windows-friendly Linux Operating System.

It also comes with 1GB of internal flash storage and 512MB of RAM, along with WiFi.

Running on 400Mhz CPU, the UMPC allows users to access mobile broadband internet and a GUI Based Full-Flash menu interface. Moreover, the other applications include games, schedulers, music players, movie players, planners etc.

The 3K Longitude 400 ultra-mobile PC aims at mobile professionals, students as they can even do online shopping, instant messaging and watch movies, everything while traveling. It is expected to hit the US market by May this year with the suggested price of $399 (approx. Rs. 15,960) through authorized distributors.
