Navigon, a leading provider of navigation products and solutions, has announced the elegantly designed Navigon 2100 at the IFA 2007.
According to the company, the Navigon 2100 GPS unit is a slim, easy-to-use and affordable device.
The features of the 2100 GPS navigator include 2D and 2D map views, 3.5-inch anti-glare touchscreen, simple-to-maneuver menus, spoken turn-by-turn directions and street names through advanced text to speech.
“With the NAVIGON 2100, it was our aim to hit a price point that was within reach of all consumers without sacrificing NAVIGON-quality form and function. The NAVIGON 2100 has the same DNA that has won us awards with other products in our portfolio. It is a result of the same intelligent design and intuitive innovation – and it offers features that aren’t available in systems at twice the price,” said Andreas Hecht, NAVIGON’s general manager for the Americas.
Additionally, it also sports predictive text and city-first or street-first data entry and millions of pre-loaded points of interest. Reality View function that provides 3D, photo-realistic virtual reality views of complex interchanges, complete with road geometry and actual road sign text, are all exclusively available on all NAVIGON devices.
Navigon also offers Automatic Speed Warnings that displays posted speed limit and notifies the driver with visual and verbal warnings as and when he is speeding.
Navigon has planned to release the 2100 GPS system in the North American market by fall, at $250 (approx. Rs. 10,000).
I received a Navigon 2100 GPS for Christmas and need an instruction manual. I went on the websites, but could not find one. The booklet that came with the unit said to go to the website and print a manual. I cannot find the correct site. Please let me know where I can find this instruction manual so I can start using my GPS unit.
I’ve bought navigon2100 from Italy.but Ilost my preloaded software and map card . so the device is useless. I went to many wibsites to buy and loaded another one on net but in vien. Tell me where can I buy the card and can I load it again through the internet even with mony. if not your devices so……..,
