While the PC industry is experiencing an ‘innovation slump,’ Razer has decided to take its advantage by launching Blade, a true gaming laptop. The Razer Blade laptop, first gaming system from the company, is equipped with the latest technologies. It has been introduced to encourage gaming on conventional PC systems.

Enclosed in the durable aluminum exterior, this gaming laptop is extremely thin at 0.88-inch. The portable device facilitates mobile gaming as it weighs less than 7lbs. Operating on the 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 processor, it is incorporated with 8GB DDR3 RAM and 2GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory. This gaming device delivers discrete graphics with the help of Nvidia GeForce processor utilizing the Optimus technology.

Outfitted with a 17-inch backlit HD LED display of resolution 1920 x 1080, the laptop comes with a built-in HD webcam. Powered by 60Wh battery, the Wi-Fi enabled gaming device integrates a 320GB 7200rpm SATA hard disk drive. It’s Switchblade user interface is inclusive of 10 configurable tactile keys together with the LCD panel which offers two modes.

The Razer Blade gaming laptop is priced at 2799.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,29,149) and is slated to release in North America by the end of this year.
