Yesterday, Toshiba displayed the X205-SLI series notebook models at the DigitalLife 2007 Gaming Tournament. All the models from this family feature an HD DVD drive in addition to its gaming prowess.
These new gaming notebooks offer high-definition entertainment to gamers. Also they allow users to watch movies while on the move.
Initially, two models from the series, the X205-SLI3 and the X205-SLI1 will be available in the market. Both the models will feature dual NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processing units (GPUs) with combined 512MB of dedicated video RAM and are compatible with Microsoft DirectX 10.
“HD DVD is the future of the high-definition lifestyle and we are excited to make this revolutionary technology available to everyone at an affordable price,†said Mark Simons, vice president and general manager, Digital Products Division, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. Adding, “Being able to watch high-definition content across a wide range of our Satellite and Qosmio notebooks or via an HDTV is an experience that we are confident will thrill our users.â€
To provide a better gaming view, the X205-SLI series notebook from Toshiba will be equipped with 17-inch diagonal widescreen TruBrite display. Other features of the new gaming series notebooks are an HDMI output port, a S/P DIF output port for 5.1 surround sound stereo and Bluetooth v2.0+EDR technology that is compatible with wireless gaming controls and other accessories.
Moreover, the X205-SLI3 includes a USB external HDTV tuner for playing live HDTV from an antenna or cable or satellite set-top box.

Now I may be wrong but looking into the 2 cpus offered in these notebooks the t7250 is a core duo 2 w/ 2mb L2 cache not 4mb L2 cache. I cannot find any processor listed for a t7250 w/ 4mb L2 cache.
