The interactive and intuitive Samsung Smart TVs that boast of features like voice control, face detection and gesture recognition, recently made their debuts in India. LED variants like the ES8000 and ES7500, Plasma E8000 and EH series televisions are some of the devices that form part of the Smart range.
These displays acquire their intuitiveness from the company’s proprietary Smart Interaction technology which allows users to activate applications, browse the web or search for content without the help of a remote control. The integrated microphones and cameras are responsible for recognizing voices and motions in the foreground. Incorporated with a dual core processor for faster performance, the televisions have been deployed with a simple user interface for better navigation too.

Options like Smart Hub, AllShare Play, Family Story with Fitness and Kids attributes amongst others should highly simplify sharing and accessing content. Select models have been embedded with slots for Samsung Evolution Kit, allowing users to keep pace with hardware and software advancements in the future. The slim LED TVs with edge-lit LED technology offer a dynamic contrast ratio of 3.5 million:1 and cut back on power consumption by up to 40 percent. And the EH Series 4, 5 and 6 of LCD TVs with protection against electrical surges, will also be released in screen sizes between 26 inches and 46 inches.
The Samsung Smart TVs prices range from Rs. 37,700 to Rs. 2,73,000 for LEDs and Plasmas, while the EH models will be priced between Rs. 24,000 and Rs. 94,900.
