Samsung Series 7 plasma HDTVs introduced

Samsung Logo Samsung introduces its new Series 7 Plasma HDTV with ToC (Touch of Color) designed bezel. This new series offers superior full HD 1080p picture and a dynamic contrast ratio up to 1,000,000:1. The HDTV is available in 50, 53 and 63 inches.

“With the Series 7 plasma HDTV, Samsung looks to elevate consumers’ home theaters with a premier design and an encompassing viewing experience,” said Steve Panosian director of Visual Display Marketing at Samsung Electronics America. “By combining superior connectivity and networking options with the latest audio-visual technologies, the Series 7 Plasma is certain to further refine most any home theater setup.”

The Samsung new Series 7 Plasma HDTVs incorporates the Ultra FilterBright technology and is compatible with DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance). Thus it helps provide easy connection with other DLNA-Certified products.

The Samsung Series 7 also equips the WiseLink Pro and in-built NTSC/ ATSC/clear QAM tuners. This Plasma HDTV will be available in August 50-inch, 58-inch and 63-inch at a retail price of $ 2799.99 (approx Rs.118,216), $ 4499 (approx Rs.189,948) and $ 5499 (approx Rs.232,168) respectively.
