Sony has introduced the latest projector in the Bravia series, called Bravia VPL-VW200. With this launch, the company claims that this projector is the flagship of the Sony Home Theater Projector line.
Sony has developed the new Bravia VPL-VW200 by combining the best features from the VPL-VW60, VPL-VW100 and the QUALIA 004 models of Projectors. The latest high frame rate Sony SXRD (Silicon X-tal Reflective Display) panel technology that is equipped into the project, delivers 1080p HD resolution with crystalline clarity.
“This is a superb quality projector with everything the real Home Theatre enthusiast is looking for,” noted Gemma Butler, product manager, projectors, Sony United Kingdom Limited. “We have listened to our customers and our dealers and used all our experience from previous, highly successful products to create something really special.”
The Bravia projector also features a professional-grade Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens, which is created by the triple SXRD panel array, is mounted onto the screen with absolute fidelity. The company’s Motionflow Dark Frame Insertion technology has the ability to double the frame rate to 100Hz.
The Bravia Engine Pro eliminates noise, improves color reproduction and enhances contrast. It also provides an intelligent 24p True Cinema that offers genuine cinema-quality images along with amazing contrast and color up to 300 degree.
Sony plans to launch the Bravia VPL-VW200 projector in early November this year.
