Samsung WB100 flaunts 26x optical zoom

Samsung WB100 Camera

The Samsung WB100 is the newest member of the company’s popular WB series line-up. The camera has been announced for the UK and it was seen in Germany before this.

Said to be suitable for those travel adventures, the camera is touted to take in every little detail whether it’s architecture, people or landscapes. These claims could probably have to do with its 22.3mm ultra wide-angle and 26x optical zoom lenses. Then there’s the dual image stabilization feature which makes sure that cases of blurring and distortions during shoots are kept to the minimum.

Moreover, the integrated ISO levels range between Auto, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600 for dealing with various lighting conditions. By employing the Live Panorama mode, users can capture the entire scenery by merely pointing and moving the camera along the view to be shot. With the integrated 3D photo capturing feature, users have the option to record stills in 3D format too.

Apart from this, Magic Frame and Smart Filter attributes have been incorporated within the snapper to enhance the image quality and the filming experience. Furthermore, the gadget draws power from an AA battery.

In terms of the form factor, the Samsung camera is around 400 grams heavy and it shows off dimensions of roughly 114.48mm x 79.26mm x 86.45mm. The overall look is a mix of metal and soft textures, with a velvety-looking hand grip for holding onto the chassis. Additionally, the company offers the device in black and red color options.

The Samsung WB100 price and release date in the UK have not yet been disclosed.
